Folio is a fictional publication, created to demonstrate a website template. Elin Sandoval does not exist. Every essay and every short note on this site was written as sample content, and none of it is a genuine account of anyone's experience, opinion or circumstances.

This matters more than the usual placeholder disclaimer: the content here is first-person prose that reads as though someone means it. Please do not quote it as though a real writer said it.

The written content on this site is published for general interest. It is not professional advice, and it does not account for your circumstances. Decisions you make after reading it are your own.

I try to keep the site accurate and current, but I do not warrant that it is free of errors or that it will always be available.
